This fun event for ALL students is sponsored by the PTA and takes place during the school day on September 28th, 2023. Students, staff and families are invited to walk, run, move and groove their bodies for approximately 30 minutes through a 1/2 mile loop around the school. Move & Groove T-shirts will be provided to students and staff for the event (courtesy of our sponsors) and participants will get “splashed” with color along the way. The color is a non-toxic powder and washes out. Color will be aimed at the T-shirts as much as possible – and participants may opt out of color stations.
Funds raised during this event directly benefit our students and teachers. This year’s Move & Groove will help to support our annual PTA budget, providing teachers with funds to assist in buying supplies and materials for their classrooms, as well as teacher grants used for curriculum, furniture, financial support for field trips and other needs for the classroom.
Our goal is to raise $50 per student!

K & 1st*: 12-12:30 p.m.
5th: 12:50–1:20 p.m.
3rd & 4th: 1:40–2:10 p.m.
Pre-K, 1st*, & 2nd: 2:20-2:40pm
*1st Grade – Papke & McNulty 12-12:30pm | Stannard & Oster 2:20-2:40pm
Students*, staff, and families (grandparents, siblings and special people in your child’s life) are all welcome to join in the fun, however, please leave your furry family members at home (no pets please).
*If you do not want your child to participate in the Move & Groove, please notify his/her teacher.
