February is I LOVE TO READ month, and to celebrate our love of books, the PTA is hosting our much-anticipated annual book swap – and this year we hope to make it the biggest one yet!
Our goal is to collect 3,000 gently used books. If we can reach this goal, every student can go home with 5 new-to-them books!
Book Collection: Tuesday, January 16th – Friday, February 2nd
Bring in any gently used books to the collection boxes (at each entrance and each house): board books, picture books, beginner chapter books, more difficult chapter books, unused activity books, etc. We always run out of chapter books so please consider donating these – we want to have books for all levels of reading!
*Please note that we cannot accept religious books or adult novels.
Book Swap: Wednesday, February 7th – Friday February 9th
Your child will come with their class to select new-to-them books to take home! The number we give away depends on the number we collect. Best part is everyone goes home with the same number of books! Books not selected at the swap will be donated.
