Planning is well underway for Rutherford’s very own outdoor classroom, a space where staff can bring students to continue their learning unplugged and outdoors.
Once our current playground is retired and removed from the property, we will begin to design an outdoor patio space in that vacant spot made up of permanently placed personalized engraved bricks!
Engraved bricks offer a unique and lasting opportunity for all students, teachers, alumni, former staff, friends of Rutherford and local businesses to not only help us towards making our commitment to building a safe and accessible experience but is also a great way to leave your mark on Rutherford Elementary School!
Building an engraved brick patio is a great way to honor graduating fifth graders, new kindergarten students, special teachers, or staff members! Bricks can be personalized with names, dates, special messages, and clip art.
Your purchase includes an engraved brick and a donation towards our outdoor classroom.
